The SUCCEED® Equine Fecal Blood Test™ is a diagnostic tool, designed to aid in your veterinarian's diagnosis of GI tract conditions in horses. It should be used in conjunction with other common diagnostic methods to provide a complete diagnosis.
Because of this, the SUCCEED® FBT is only available from your veterinarian.
You and your vet can decide if you should administer the FBT yourself, or if he or she should handle the test. Of course, whatever you decide, remember that the SUCCEED® FBT only provides information to aid in the diagnosis, and it's the veterinarian's job to provide the appropriate diagnosis and recommend a course of treatment. Discuss your options with your veterinarian, and always consult your vet for any health concerns you might have regarding your horse.
